We will cross the Gulf of Poets to admire the picturesque seaside villages of its coastline. The first stop will be Porto Venere, with its jagged coastline, rocky caves, the church of San Pietro, the caruggi (typical narrow streets of seaside villages), the sea-calley and the walls of the Doria castle. Next, we will reach the 5 Terre: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso, admiring them from a privileged perspective. These five villages suspended between land and sea, surrounded by vineyards and cliffs, are truly magical places, rich in colours, flavours, images, sounds and materials unique in the world. You will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Vernazza on your own and, if you wish, stop for lunch in a typical Ligurian restaurant. The captain will be waiting for you on board. On the way back, you can admire Monesteroli, a small fishing village that can only be reached from the sea or via a very steep flight of 2,200 stone steps. Furthermore, on the left, you will see the historic Byron cave dedicated to the English poet Lord Byron and have another fantastic view of Porto Venere.
